Bullying may have led to the death of a Danville, Va Public School’s student!

A dog in Danville, Va deserves more of a piece of the sidewalk then a black child! O.T Bonner Middle School in Danville, Va... At approximately 7:02 am Danville Police officers responded to the 100 block of Manchester Ave. in reference to a death investigation. When officers arrived on the scene they discovered a black male juvenile inside the residence suffering from a gunshot wound. The juvenile victim was pronounced dead on the scene. There are reports that the child that shot himself was being bullied by kids at his school. The body was sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Roanoke, Virginia for examination. However, when reporting the death of a dog on its Danville, Va and newspapers website. The paper can report the Danville Police Department reporting the "unfortunate" death of a dog taken into its custody on Monday, May 5, 2014. So, I guess the boy's death was fortunate. Sources familiar to the situation with the child have said he was being bullied for years and this became the result. It is shameful and disgusting to know while O.T Bonner Middle School reports the school is improving but make no mention of the death of one of it's kids based off their failure to protect them is reprehensible. This is how the Danville, Va Register and Bee and its police department do damage control. Covering up b.s for its perception. Am I to believe that a ongoing investigation is occurring within the school system and a reporter named Ms. Hughes really did some non bias reporting because in this news article, it makes no mention of this incident. This kid should have not died because the school failed to its job. I hope the citizens of Danville finally get fed up. http://www.godanriver.com/news/danville/bonner-gets-permanent-principal-adopts-new-color-scheme-dress-code/article_dfa8bc9c-dd47-11e3-bbd6-001a4bcf6878.html
